Background

Lili is a partner at Bisset Boehmke McBlain. She joined the firm as a candidate attorney in 2014 and was appointed as an associate after being admitted in 2016. Lili was admitted as notary in November 2017, and in June 2023, Lili was admitted as a sworn translator (German, English, Afrikaans). She attended the German School in Pretoria and studied both BCom Law and LLB at the University of Pretoria. Lili has a general practice and has acted for clients in a variety of matters in litigation and commercial and contractual matters, and in particular works with German-speaking clients or with clients who need assistance dealing with legal matters in Germany.

During her studies, Lili played the flute for the Pretoria Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, raised a guide dog for the South African Guide Dog Association and studied Spanish.

In her spare time, Lili enjoys travelling, hiking and competitive swimming. She also loves dancing tango and salsa, and she chairs a Spanish Meet-Up group.
