Background
Rufus was born and raised in Stellenbosch and matriculated from Paul Roos Gymnasium in 2017. He completed his BCom LLB degree at Stellenbosch University and then his LLM in Commercial Law at the University of Cape Town. Rufus joined Bisset Boehmke McBlain as a candidate attorney in 2024.

Rufus enjoys almost all types of sport, especially team sports. He plays golf, tennis and touch rugby. Furthermore, being outdoors with friends and family is also a favourite, especially when combining it with hunting, hiking or certain types of endurance sports.
